DELI'S 2: LIFE. LORE. AND THE LINCOLN DEL.

Of the many local delis that have dotted the landscape of the Twin Cities, the Lincoln Del holds a beloved, unique place in our hearts. From its beginnings as a bakery, to its prime years from the '60’s through the '90’s with 3 locations around the metro, the Lincoln Del mapped the path of the Jewish population’s migration throughoutthe Twin Cities.Of the many local delis that have dotted the landscape of the Twin Cities, the Lincoln Del holds a beloved, unique place in our hearts. From it’s beginnings as a bakery, to its prime years from the 1960’s through the 1990’s with 3 locations around the metro, the Lincoln Del mapped the path of the Jewish population’s migration throughout the Twin Cities. (and fed them along the way!)

As told by Lincoln Del owner, Danny Berenberg, family members, former employees and customers, local voices and celebrities, Life, Lore and the Lincoln Del takes a journey through many memories of the Del and other local favorite spots, and important companies that were part of the deli story, such as Feinberg Kosher Meats.
